Ameel (he/him) is the Insights, Digital and Social Media Manager at Transurban. He’s been active on social media since 1996 and has been building websites and intranets professionally since 1997.
Ameel specialises in solving complex, cross-business technical and communications challenges. Over the last five years he has used research, data, and his 20+ years of experience to evolve Transurban’s digital and social media strategies. In the six years before that he built and managed Jetstar’s social media presence across the Asia Pacific region.
Ameel has an MBA from Melbourne Business School and a background in technology, strategy, marketing, communications, and consulting. He has worked at large multinationals; small start-ups; local and global non-profits; and government organizations. He also plays the drums, but that’s probably not relevant.
