Who are you?

We’re a couple of happy weirdos living in Melbourne, Australia.

Tell us about yourselves

We met in Islamabad in 2001, got married in 2004, and moved to Melbourne in 2006.

In 2007 Nadia completed her MA from the University of Melbourne and in 2008 Ameel completed his MBA from Melbourne Business School. In 2013 Nadia completed her PhD from the University of Melbourne.

Nadia is currently a Teaching Associate at the University of Melbourne (as well as the founder of the Australian Multilingual Writing Project) and Ameel is the Insights, Digital, and Social Media Manager at Transurban.

Why ‘Insanity Works’?

Because, given the state of the world, insanity does work…well, some of the time anyway. Sometimes you do need to be a Chaos Muppet :)

Actually, ‘insanity works’ is explanatory phrase that Nadia once wrote in an email to Ameel. The two of us liked the phrase and, when it came time to choose a name for our shared website, we picked this one.

Why don’t you just have social media profiles like normal people?
