I’m geek, techie, musician (mostly drummer), and amateur photographer. My pronouns are he/him.

I love books, music, film, television, technology, science, science/fantasy fiction, and anything to do with the internet.

Since the 90s I’ve been known online as ‘Commander Khan’ – so if you see any profile avatars of me in a Star Trek uniform, that’s why.

I’m currently the Insights, Digital, and Social Media Manager at Transurban.

I specialise in using research and data to solve complex, cross-business, technical and communications challenges.

I have a background in technology, web development, and digital strategy as well as in marketing, external/internal communications, and consulting.

I’ve worked in large multinationals; small start-ups; local and global non-profits; and government organisations.

I’ve been active on social media since 1996 and have been building websites and intranets professionally since 1997.
