The interface is awesome. This specific tablet PC supports both a Wacom stylus (with pressure sensitivity) and two-finger touch (so you can use the pinch gesture to zoom/resize and twist gesture to rotate).

I use the stylus when taking notes during meetings and it works really well. It does take a little getting used, though, because the glass screen is smoother than paper (so there's difference in resistance) and the lines you draw appear slightly below the stylus' tip (because the LCD surface is a little below the glass layer on top). Other than that, it's brilliant. I'm loving it!

Oh, and I use Microsoft OneNote which is brilliant for organizing all the notes I take in and out of meetings.

Nice purchase. I hope this whole iPad thing finally helps to boost the prominence of the tablet.

How do you find the interface when using the touch screen (or stylus)? Is it accurate and responsive enough to scribble down heaps of notes and diagrams and things during a meeting?

You're welcome. I hope yours arrives quickly and that you like it as much as I do. I look forward to hearing what you think of it.

::sigh:: I'm jealous. I just ordered mine and I'm trying not to be too optimistic regarding my mid-June shipping date. My specs are nearly identical to yours (I went with a smaller harddrive since I tend to use external drives a lot anyway) so I'm excited to hear that you are pleased with performance. I, too, am looking forward to not having to disconnect my work laptop from a dual monitor setup every time I have to leave my office for a meeting. Thanks for sharing your hands-on experiences. I can hardly wait to get my hands on my own.
